Lacrosse Techniques - Overhand Passing

Start with the essentials and learn the proper technique for passing overhand.  So many players begin playing without the proper instruction and end up learning to throw with a sidearm or angled throwing motion.  After only a year or two of using the incorrect form a player can seriously stunt their lacrosse potential by building muscle memory of an incorrect form.  Passing overhand is universally harped on by coaches because it is one of the the most important and fundamental skills built during a players first few years.  After developing an overhand throwing motion learning to pass at other angles becomes a tool rather than an impediment.

Lacrosse Techniques - Cradling

Similar to dribbling in soccer or cradling in hockey cradling in lacrosse is not required but essential to game play.  Learn the basic ways of cradling in this video and how they apply to in-game situations.

Lacrosse Techniques - Beginner Ground Balls

Any coach can tell you that if all they had to look at were the ground ball statistics for a game they could probably guess who won.  Ground balls can be second chances or lost opportunities depending on who wins it.  Nine times out of ten the team that wins the most ground balls will win the game simply by virtue of more possessions and more opportunities to score.  Learn the proper techniques for picking up a ground ball in this video.
